Founded in 1825, the Arc group is a major player in the glass industry, specializing in the production of tableware products. Today, Dametis is supporting the Arc France plant in Arques, the group’s largest production site, in its energy management.
As the manufacturing process at this site is particularly energy-intensive, the group decided to act in favor of the environment, by finding solutions adapted to its activity.

The EMS software initially seemed to meet our needs, with the possibility of integrating a large amount of data, which was important for us because we wanted to be able to report and monitor many indicators. Today, it’s a success.

4 types of glass are processed: soda-lime (transparent or colored glass), crystalline, glass-ceramic and fluosilicate (opaque glass). This energy-intensive production process requires 10 furnaces on 50 production lines.
