Founded in 1825, the Arc group is a major player in the glass industry, specializing in the production of tableware products. Today, Dametis is supporting the Arc France plant in Arques, the group’s largest production site.
As the manufacturing process at this site is particularly energy-intensive, the group decided to act in favor of the environment, by finding solutions adapted to its activity.

Specializing in the manufacture of table glasses, the Arc site operates 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
4 types of glass are processed: soda-lime (transparent or colored glass), crystalline, glass-ceramic and fluosilicate (opaque glass). This energy-intensive production process requires 10 furnaces on 50 production lines.
