Focus on Dametis
support at Etria’s Dieppe site

We called on Dametis in 2020 to carry out a project aimed at reusing energy from our processes to heat our buildings. In the first year, we reduced our gas consumption by 50%. The MyDametis tool enabled all our staff to easily access and analyze their consumption data.

Key figures

Etria Dieppe (formerly Toshiba) is one of the Japanese group’s two largest toner ink production sites worldwide. The site opened in 1986 and began its activity with the assembly of photocopiers. In 1993, it began producing toner ink: spraying, plastic injection, bottling and cartridge assembly.

On the strength of its experience, the site has been awarded the “Vitrine Industrie du Futur” label in 2019 and is ISO certified (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001).

Implementing energy management software: an industry essential

Their needs :

Heat recovery from new refrigeration systems

Optimize energy costs (in the face of rising gas prices at the end of 2022)

Controlling and sustaining processes after work has been completed

Our solutions:

Carrying out work :

  • Installation of a new refrigeration plant and two air compressors
  • Installation of a heat recovery system for cold production and creation of a network to relieve another building’s boiler room.

Implementation of our MyDametis EMS software for :

  • Adapt scheduling processes and optimize costs by reorganizing working hours.
  • Administer an energy-saving plan for all plant employees

Results in figures

321 TCO2

avoided thanks to heat recovery on chillers

-57%

in annual gas consumption for the services building

70 000€

energy savings on annual bill in 2022 thanks to early detection of deviations
