It all began in 2019
When our four co-founders realized that the current business model could not be sustained until we could control our environmental impact
Diverse yet complementary profiles have joined forces in the belief that knowledge grows the more it is shared.
Julian Aristizabal
CEO
Julian began his studies in aeronautics before moving into the energy sector. He co-founded a company in 2013, but realized that the market for energy efficiency solutions was not yet mature.
In 2019, he co-founded Dametis, where he created the Lego theory: integrating expert knowledge into software to help manufacturers make a success of their energy and environmental transition.
Cédric Pernot
Director of Operations
Following studies in energy efficiency and green energies, Cédric has been working with manufacturers, providing them with support in financing projects (CEE) and managing energy efficiency work.
In 2019, he co-founded Dametis, where he brings his added value as the guarantor of KPIs and cash management for each project.
Sébastien Papouin
Technical Manager
Since his early days in the United States, Sébastien has always worked in the energy sector. After numerous audits, he decided to design an intelligent control solution to meet the needs of industrial customers.
In 2019, he co-founded Dametis and became CTO. He is convinced that AI can provide continuous plant auditing, 24 hours a day, unlike humans.
Nicolas Duran
CTO
A computer engineer, then software engineer at a company specializing in high-performance, low-carbon computing power, he designed a single sign-on service.
He then became Deputy Director of Technology at Quarnot Computing. In 2019, he will co-found Dametis, where he will develop innovative and unique EMS software.
This accumulated knowledge has given rise to Dametis’ flagship theory, a vision and a mission that give rhythm to our adventure every day.

Our Legos theory
The idea is simple: imagine your factory as an assembly of Lego blocks, with each block corresponding to a utility or process. Two similar blocks are comparable from one factory to another.
Based on a map of your plant and your requirements, we define the ideal virtual version, block by block.
So we know exactly which blocks to optimize to achieve excellent performance levels.

Extra info: the origin of the Dametis name
We created Dametis because we are sensitive to ecological issues such as the fight against climate change and the preservation of ecosystems.The more the years go by, the more we feel how crucial and urgent these issues are at the dawn of the 21st century.
