Reminder of ISO 50001 obligations
The DDADUE law redefines industrial obligations in 2025.
Is your annual energy consumption greater than 23.6 GWh? You must implement an ISO 50001 Energy Management System (EnMS).
Is your annual energy consumption between 2.7 and 23.6 GWh? You are required to carry out an industrial energy audit before October 11, 2026, which will then need to be renewed every 4 years.
Whether or not you are required to implement the ISO 50001 standard through an energy management system, it is worth noting that it can bring many benefits. Firstly, it exempts you from carrying out energy audits. Finally, it promotes a virtuous approach, engaging your site in a process of continuous improvement with energy savings as a result.
Implementing EMS software (Energy Management Software) facilitates the deployment of the EnMS and thus helps to make it easier to both obtain and maintain ISO 50001 certification.
The EnMS, a system governed by the standard and fully managed by our teams for the implementation of ISO 50001
